Wouldn?t it be lovely, really, wouldn?t it be lovely to wear pajamas the whole day??..?  And wouldn't it be equally lovely to simply wear slippers all the time? Why then life would be rather like one big pajama party, wouldn?t it? 

(Sigh, let?s face it, the blogging girl was simply trying to rationalize why she so often found herself in Marrakech?s slipper souk, known as the souk de babouches.  At this rate, it might just be easier for her to set up a small cot nearby.)

While the biggest music release of the season will be Coldplay's Viva La Vida, it's not exactly the kind of album that will prompt non-stop dancing and fun at your summer party.

If you've got time to spare and want to hear me babble (on and on) about how I got started with my business(es) and what I've been doing over the past 9 years, I recently did a podcast with Jennifer Ackerman-Haywood of CraftSanity. I have to say that I actually enjoyed doing this podcast because it felt more like a conversation with friend than a press interview.

I also did a podcast several months ago with Chronicle Books. I was kinda nervous when I did that interview. Okay, why couldn't I remember what I covered in my book?! Seriously. There were some definite deer-in-the-headlights, crickets-a-chirping moments during that interview. Thank goodness it wasn't live. Thank goodness is wasn't filmed. And thank goodness for the magic of editing so that I seem like a competent book author. Um, really, I am!

I'm still getting used to doing these broadcast interviews and I tend to get all self-critical when I listen to myself speak, so I haven't actually listened to either podcast yet. But trust me, you should--you'll either walk away with some quasi-interesting information about me or maybe even some laughs at my expense. Either way, it's good times.

Well, I seem to be suffering from a little **blog block tonight so unfortunately I don't have anything very exciting to share with you except for this beautiful pair of Antique pink Bristol glass vases from Windsor Smith. Oh how I love these vases which have two major things {I am currently obsessed with} going for them - they are pink and they have birds painted on them!! Then again I have always loved pink but birds are a reasonably new {within the last 6 months} obsession!! I promise I'll be over my blog block tomorrow!!
